![]() MIDA Radar: Radar stays active while aiming down sights.MIDA Mult-Tool boasts some good perks, but the main appeal will be its two traits. This is particularily helpful in the Crucible, as it allows you to ADS and make sure you aren't being flanked. This is the one that allows your radar to remain active when you’re ADS. The perk everyone was looking for was called Third Eye in Destiny, but is called MIDA Radar in Destiny 2. Instead of another quest step, he’ll hand you the MIDA Multi-Tool Exotic Scout Rifle. When you finish this quest step, head back to the Tower one last time and speak with Banshee-44. On a second run through the MIDA Multi-Tool quest, I finished this step during the Leviathan raid, although I wasn't trying and have no clue how I managed to get that many airborne kills with an SMG. One of my fireteam members knew what I was doing, so he would wound all enemies, but stop short of killing them, essentially setting the table for me to get some easy airborne SMG kills. This is most easily accomplished by softening your enemies up with a couple of shots while your boots are on the ground, and then jumping up and using the hip fire mechanic to finish them off. I got my 50 SMG kills while airborne in two Strikes. You were given the MIDA Mini-Tool by Devrim Kay, and that is the perfect weapon for this job. This quest step is silly, but it’s not exactly difficult. This may be a quicker process of getting the Scout Rifles you need. You can also cash in any vendor tokens to level them up for rank-up packages. Dismantle your five Scout Rifles and then go back to speak with Banshee-44 again to get the next step. If you do not have them, head out into the world and play the game until you get the drops you need. If you have them in your inventory, this will be quick. Again, these can be both Kinetic and Energy weapons. He will then ask that you dismantle five Rare (or better) Scout Rifles. When that step is complete, head back to the Tower and speak with Banshee-44. Eliminate Multiple Enemies Without Reloading.Eliminate 50 Enemies with Precision Shots. The first two must be completed with a Scout Rifle, be it a Kinetic or Energy weapon. It’s here that he will give you a quest called Sight, Shoot, Repeat. Head back to the Tower and speak with Banshee-44. From here, you can begin your quest to unlock MIDA Multi-Tool by speaking with Banshee-44. Once the Enhance quest is complete, Devrim Kay will give you the MIDA Mini-Tool, a Legendary Submachine Gun, as a reward. If you don’t see it, start knocking off any quests you do see in the Trostland until it pops up. The quest will be marked on the map with a blue icon that looks like it has a white crown in it. The one you’re looking for is called Enhance, and can be found in the Trostland region of the EDZ (European Dead Zone) on Earth. Doing this will unlock quests and missions on each planet. To get the MIDA Multi-Tool in Destiny 2, finish the Red Legion main story campaign. The same perk exists for the MIDA Multi-Tool in Destiny 2, although getting this gun doesn’t depend on RNG this time around. Both Midas are well-rounded, top-shelf weapons that will serve you well in all activities.MIDA Multi-Tool, an Exotic Scout Rifle from the original game, has found its way into Destiny 2. Whether it was for PVE or PVP, players loved this Exotic Scout Rifle mainly because your radar would remain active when you were ADS (aimed down sight). Go back to the Gunsmith and voila! You’re the proud owner of a powerhouse pair. Notably, you only have to deal the killing blow with a submachine gun, and you do not have to use the Mida Mini-Tool for this step. This step is easiest for Dawnblade Warlocks, but any class can knock it out by jumping over weak enemies like Fallen dregs and shanks. To clear this step, get 50 midair submachine kills. Visit the gunsmith once more and he’ll give you ‘The Fall Will Kill You’. (And while you’re at it, save up legendary and exotic engrams for the Sturm quest.) Step three ![]() So if you’re reading this ahead of time, be sure to save up scout rifles. Completing Lost Sectors is a fast way to earn rare weapons, but you can do virtually anything. ![]() You cannot buy these from a vendor, but you can receive them from faction packages. To clear this step, you have to dismantle five rare or legendary scout rifles. Return to the gunsmith and he’ll give you ‘Under the Hood’. You can complete both objectives in any activity on any planet. Any scout rifle will do, though one with a large magazine will make this step easier. Getting additional kills won’t contribute to that magazine’s multi-kill count. The trick here is to reload after getting three kills. The second objective refers to 25 multi-kills, meaning you’ll technically kill 75-ish individual enemies. Using a scout rifle, eliminate 50 enemies with precision headshots, and eliminate multiple (three) enemies without reloading, 25 times. ![]()
